The Laboratory of Applied Cross-Cultural and Social Psychology is one of the oldest research units of the Department of Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. It supports the Department’s research and teaching mission, with a focus on the study of culture, acculturation, the integration of minority groups, and intergroup relations. At the same time, it trains students and researchers in cross-cultural methodology and psychometric tools, provides professional development for practitioners working with culturally diverse populations, and designs interventions aimed at promoting equality and combating prejudice and racism. Through these activities, the Laboratory seeks to strengthen the university’s engagement with the wider community by organizing open events and collaborating with civil society organizations.
